Location: La Palma, CA -> Waialae Iki, Oahu, HI
My HI life: Just a girl who loves indulging, loving and savoring every moment. With a tinge of hedonistic tendencies, she borders on hypocrisy, favoring materialistic girly things like lace, high heels, nail polish and dresses with an undying faithfulness towards the outdoors, basketball and rough housing. Though allergic to wonderful delights like avocados and green grass, she’ll eat guacamole until her lips are in perpetual swell and romp about in fields until its time to head home. She swoons on culture and refined things like art, dancing and the makings of tea and wine. Yet, could be as easily entertained by flying kites and watching butterflies. She yearns to learn the history of the seemingly insignificant small things such as bees or Midwestern towns. And can listen for hours to every person’s story. This is what she loves.

Been spending these mildly cold days wrapped up in cozy blankets with fresh sheets…delving into first chapters of a dozen or so books…
But on the days when the weather is as fickle as I am, I savor the sunshine on the lanai, eating prose and poetry for breakfast…
